Many football video game players like the multilayer action, others like to play it solo. Going against human opponents in a football game can be much more challenging then playing against the games artificial intelligence. I have friends who take an entire weekend to have football tournaments on their gaming consoles. Playing football on a game console is a lot of fun. Football is the one type of game I feel is better played on a gaming console like the Xbox or PlayStation than on a computer. The controls are just easier and football games excel on the consoles.
